“My work focuses on the process of purpose lost which is demonstrated through various objects under study. The idea of decay depicted here is the subsequent loss of purpose rather than mere death of any relation. The roots of this study are evolved from the theory of Memento mori which reflect mainly upon mortality especially the concept of ‘vanity of earthly life’. However, in this study we will explore the vanity of lost purpose. The different genres under which the objects are being studied for purpose lost are mainly the interplay of different mediums, treatments, chiaroscuro and process”.
