Shomyl is an avid art collector with a keen eye to spot talent. He is keen to promote contemporary art from Pakistan and showcase it to the wider world.
A Chartered Accountant by profession and an art collector by passion, Shomyl has been collecting art from Pakistani for almost two decades and now has an impressive collection which comprises works by masters, contemporary and modern masters. Shomyl keenly follows careers of artists and keeps up with the South Asian Art Auction arena.
Shomyl’s vision is to bring forward and promote young talent from Pakistan on international stage and in that respect, he is always connecting upcoming artists to well established international galleries. He is a keen reader and is interested in history of modern and contemporary art and has attended a number of courses held by Sothebys Institute of Art, London.
