Meerab Rehmat
Being a visual artist, my work revolves around a specific impasto technique in vector style, which is executed in the form of relief with oil paint on canvas or board. I always start a work of art having human figure in mind, a composition of different body parts. However, mostly I use hands and facial features to express emotion and the expressions. I try to execute my work with a certain level of realism. This meticulous process brings about a serene sense of peace and tranquility. While I am working, I am not concerned with the outcome; I just let the ideas bend the reality. Being an introvert, I find it hard to express myself in words; I speak through my paints in order to develop a better understanding of myself in a subjective environment. My present work is a mere depiction of a forcibly process to not let others go, which get us away from an eternal comfort.
